AnnieMac Home Mortgage To Launch Construction-To-Permanent Lending In Over 30 States

AnnieMac Home Mortgage (AnnieMac) has announced the rollout of construction-to-permanent (CTP) loans in more than 30 states. The expansion strengthens AnnieMac’s ability to support homebuyers, builders, and communities in markets across the country. It builds on AnnieMac’s acquisition last year of certain assets from Florida-based Home Solution Lenders Inc. (HSL), leveraging the partnership to bring HSL’s specialized construction-lending expertise to AnnieMac’s national platform.

The program will be led by Ricky Peacock, SVP of the HSL division at AnnieMac, and comes at a time when new construction is playing an increasingly important role in meeting housing demand. Homebuilders now account for more than 20% of market share—more than double their pre-COVID share—while the average American home is more than 40 years old, and available inventory remains below long-term demand.

“Expanding AnnieMac’s construction-lending capabilities positions us to meet growing demand for new housing and better serve homebuyers and homebuilders across the country,” said Joseph Panebianco, CEO of AnnieMac. “Ricky Peacock and the HSL team have spent more than a decade navigating the differences between traditional and construction financing, giving us the expertise to manage the process from start to finish. Together, we are building a best-in-class platform that delivers the consistency, coordination and support homebuyers and homebuilders need.”

As new construction represents a growing share of home sales, an experienced, in-house CTP team enables AnnieMac to serve stakeholders across the industry and support both existing-home and new-build transactions. The platform will provide loan officers and builders with a coordinated financing process while giving borrowers greater clarity and confidence throughout the construction of their homes.

“Construction-to-permanent lending requires experience, discipline and close coordination among the borrower, builder and lender,” said Ricky Peacock. “Our team has spent more than a decade developing a process that makes financing a new home more efficient and predictable for everyone involved. AnnieMac’s resources and national reach will allow us to bring that expertise to more communities while maintaining the hands-on support that builders and homebuyers need.”

The program will launch in July and will be available in Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
