Amerifirst Adds New CIO To Senior Management Team
Amerifirst Home Mortgage, a full-service residential lender and servicer, has appointed Thinh Nguyen to serve as its chief information officer. In his new role, Nguyen will oversee all aspects of the company’s IT department, including its strategy, execution, and infrastructure.
He joined the company April 5.
Nguyen has over 20 years of experience leading major digital transformation initiatives and delivering large-scale business-to-business, business-to-consumer, and enterprise solutions. Most recently, he served as CIO of Servicing at Flagstar Bank. Before this, he served as Senior Vice President of Information Technology at Mr. Cooper (formerly Nationstar Mortgage), the largest nonbank mortgage servicer in the country.

Nguyen previously held leadership roles at Alcon Laboratories, JPMorgan Chase, and TPG Capital. He holds a BS in Information Systems from the University of Texas at Arlington and an MBA from Southern Methodist University.
