Gateway Opens New Mortgage Centers In South Dakota And Utah
Gateway Mortgage Group, a division of Gateway First Bank, announced it has opened a new mortgage center in Sturgis, South Dakota, and Spanish Fork, Utah, to meet increased demand from local communities for home financing. With an increased number of homeowners refinancing and taking advantage of lower interest rates, the South Dakota and Utah housing markets are booming. The new openings bring Gateway’s footprint to more than 150 mortgage centers across the United States.

Gateway has seen record-breaking volume since 2019 and funded over $1 billion in residential mortgage loans in April, May, and June 2020. Year-to-date through June, the company has originated more than $5.3 billion in mortgage loans, putting the company on track to potentially surpass its record-breaking year of $7.7 billion funded loans in 2019.
