Down Payment Resource (DPR), a technology for connecting homebuyers with homeownership programs, released its Q2 2026 Homeownership Program Index (HPI) report, identifying 2,746 programs nationwide. The total represents an increase of 67 programs from Q1 2026, reflecting continued expansion of resources designed to improve affordability and access to homeownership, and is a new survey high.

National affordable housing innovator Arrive Home has launched New Foundations DPA, a down payment assistance program designed to accommodate borrowers purchasing manufactured homes. Unlike other DPA programs that exist for manufactured housing, New Foundations DPA accommodates single-wide homes.

Arcasa, a provider of solar-integrated mortgage solutions, and Down Payment Resource, a provider of technology for connecting homebuyers with homebuyer assistance programs, announced that Arcasa’s Energy-Smart DPA program is now listed nationwide in Down Payment Resource’s DPA Directory. Energy-Smart DPA combines a market-rate home loan with energy-efficient upgrades, giving homebuyers a single, streamlined path to both homeownership and long-term utility savings.

The number of programs increased by 43 during the first quarter, bringing the total number of available programs to 2,509.
