Planet Home Lending, Hires Brian C. Miller As SVP, Talent Acquisition
Planet Home Lending, LLC, a national lender and servicer, has hired Brian C. Miller as SVP, Talent Acquisition.
“Brian’s deep expertise in mortgage recruiting and his charismatic enthusiasm make him the perfect person to further build Planet’s world-class talent acquisition organization,” said Chief Human Resources Officer Ben Hughes. “Planet grew its staff by 40% over the past 12 months as origination volumes doubled and the servicing portfolio nearly doubled. We anticipate continued expansion in those channels as well as growth in new markets in the year ahead. Brian will ensure Planet has the talent organization to maintain its momentum.”
Prior to joining Planet Home Lending, Miller was senior vice president, strategic growth at Caliber Home Loans, Inc. During his two decades in the industry, he also headed talent leadership positions at PrimeLending, Stearns Lending, MetLife Home Loans and Bank of America.
Miller was drawn to Planet Home Lending by the company’s entrepreneurial approach to mortgage banking. “Planet’s executive leadership understands Main St. as well as they understand Wall Street,” Miller said. “They’re the right size and have the right approach — listening to originators and delivering high-tech, high-touch service to customers and business partners.”
