SLK Global Solutions, a provider of technology-enabled platform solutions for the financial services industry, has announced the promotion of Mark Ramsey who has been instrumental in the organization’s growth in the title and tax solutions business.
Ramsey, who has more than 17 years of experience in the title industry, joined SLK in 2018 to expand the reach of its digital platforms and solutions like SmartProp® and SmartTrak® among title and settlement services companies. As vice-president of business development, he was responsible for growing his business by 40 percent and closing more than 80 new opportunities. In this extended role, Ramsey will cover all regions of the U.S. in addition to managing 20 customer accounts.

Before joining SLK Global Solutions, Ramsey held key roles in several leading companies, including ServiceLink, Fidelity National Financial, and Lender Processing Services.
“It’s been a very interesting year so far with a volatile mortgage market coupled with the unforeseen pandemic situation,” said Ramsey. “But thanks to a strong team backed by our technology-enabled platform solutions, including SmartProp for property title search reports and SmartTrak for property tax reports, we have been able to successfully help our existing clients, and also expand our presence to new customers with these solutions to help them in the current environment. In fact, for one of our clients, we were able to return current owner search reports 50 percent faster when they needed them urgently. In another case, we completed 99 percent of high-volume batch title search report orders on time using SmartProp.”
More than 100 title agencies currently use SLK’s digital platform solutions and services. Customers can sign up, place orders, check order status and access final reports through the company’s platform portal.
