Alanna.ai Launches Legacy Data Connector To Access Historical Title Production Data
Alanna.ai, the creator of a suite of AI-powered tools for title agents, has introduced Alanna Legacy Data Connector (LDC), a solution designed to make historical data from legacy title production systems accessible and actionable for current operations.
According to alanna.ai President and Co-Founder Hoyt Mann, many title companies are sitting on a significant amount of valuable transaction data that remains locked in older title production systems, requiring a sometimes costly license to maintain while becoming cumbersome to access or transfer to a newer production system.
“The title industry has evolved rapidly, and many agencies have moved to newer production platforms while leaving behind mountains of critical data in their legacy systems,” Mann said. “That historical information about past policies and completed transactions represents a tremendous asset, but accessing it typically means staff hunting through old systems, manually copying information or re-keying data they’ve already entered once before. We built the Legacy Data Connector to unlock that data and put it to work for our customers.”
The Legacy Data Connector connects directly to legacy title systems and reads historical data, making that information searchable and usable in new files without requiring exports, manual lookups or re-keying. The solution enables title agency staff to search and find prior files instantly and reuse historical data in new orders, eliminating duplicate work.
“Without a solution like this, prior files essentially live in the past,” Mann said. “Teams spend valuable time hunting for old orders manually, and that historical information rarely gets reused even when it would be helpful. The Legacy Data Connector turns a title agency’s history into an asset rather than an archive.”
For users, the technology delivers faster file setup, less manual searching and fewer data entry errors. For leadership, it provides cleaner access to actionable data.
Mann emphasized that the Legacy Data Connector does not change how agencies run their current title systems. Rather, it allows Alanna to access data that title companies already own so their past work can actively support future operations.
“The flexibility to build your tech stack the way you want to is critical in this industry,” Mann said. “Title agents shouldn’t be forced to choose between accessing their own historical data and adopting new technologies that can help them serve customers better. The Legacy Data Connector gives them both: they maintain full control of their workflow while we help make their existing data work harder for them.”
