ServiceLink Joins Forces With Grid-ML, Bolstering UAD 3.6 Readiness

ServiceLink continues to cement its position as an industry Uniform Appraisal Dataset (UAD) 3.6 leader, ensuring readiness at every stage of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac’s (GSEs) UAD 3.6 Forms Redesign rollout. Representing its latest UAD 3.6 readiness step, ServiceLink announced its partnership with Grid-ML LLC to be the first AMC in the industry to offer its new UAD 3.6 Interactive Reference Guide to ServiceLink’s appraiser panel at no extra cost.

Grid-ML’s UAD 3.6 Interactive Reference Guide synthesizes the GSE’s UAD 3.6 publications into a single, easy-to-use comprehensive digital guide so users can quickly find guidance on UAD 3.6 standardized terminology, instructions and usage details of the new reporting format, without having to sift through multiple GSE PDF documents and spreadsheets. The guide is fully searchable and presents all GSE guidance directly in the layout of the new Uniform Residential Appraisal Report (URAR), allowing appraisers to quickly and efficiently find field requirements, valid response options and conditional display rules. Its responsive design for on-the-go access from mobile devices is another attractive feature, making adoption seamless for appraisers in the field.

“Providing our appraiser panel access to this powerful guide is our way of giving back and helping them feel better prepared to embark on their own UAD 3.6 journey,” said Liz Green, senior vice president of valuation solutions at ServiceLink. “As our panelists continue down the path from 2.6 to 3.6, this guide will serve as the CliffsNotes for the new report, clearing up any confusion while helping them better understand and fulfill the new URAR quickly and efficiently for our lender partners.”

This guide emerges at a pivotal time. To date, only a handful of appraisal software providers across the industry are approved by the GSEs to produce the new URAR under version 3.6. For many appraisers, this has meant that they still lack general access to the new reporting capabilities. The UAD 3.6 Interactive Reference Guide makes this information more accessible, helping to deepen appraisers’ knowledge and comfort with UAD 3.6. By extending this guide to ServiceLink’s panel it provides a distinct advantage as the next big milestone in the UAD 3.6 timeline draws near, with Broad Production beginning January 26, 2026.

“ServiceLink’s investment in the UAD 3.6 Interactive Reference Guide reflects their commitment to setting their appraisal panel up for success,” said Abe Lira, founder of Grid-ML. “Our platform is an essential resource for appraisers to successfully navigate this crucial industry transition.”
