Nexval Names Marie Fernandez-Abou Chief Marketing Officer

Nexval, a business process outsourcing and fintech provider specializing in the mortgage industry, has appointed branding and marketing expert Marie Fernandez-Abou as chief marketing officer. Fernandez-Abou will oversee the company’s marketing strategy and execution of all marketing activities, including corporate branding and digital marketing.

Fernandez-Abou brings 20 years of experience in marketing and deep expertise in the financial services industry. For 13 years, she served as managing partner of Imagery Creative, a Miami-based advertising, branding and digital agency, where her clients included many companies in the mortgage industry. Imagery Creative received numerous accolades under Fernandez-Abou’s leadership, including Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 500/5000 Award, over 60 Addy Awards from the American Advertising Federation (AAF) for creative excellence, and 2013 Best of Show award by the American Association of Advertising Agencies.

Fernandez-Abou’s personal achievements include winning a Hispanic Women of Distinction Award, a prestigious award for South Florida businesswomen, as well as the Outstanding Business Woman award from the South Florida Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce. She also served as president of the Advertising Federation of Miami for two consecutive years after serving on the board in several other key positions.
