Rose Marie David: ‘Three keys to being a Mentor Leader’

Mentorship is defined as “an experienced and trusted advisor.” Rose Marie will help differentiate between a coach and a mentor, as she has been a life-long subscriber to both. When major events occur, it is common to seek wisdom from a mentor who has perspective beyond one’s scope of understanding. Sharing her personal stories will no doubt inspire leaders to be even more intentional at fostering mentoring relationships yielding greater productivity and employee engagement within the organization.

Rose Marie David is an Executive Vice President Divisional Manager for Homebridge Financial Services. Ms. David made the move with her team to Homebridge in June 2019 after successfully navigating a complex acquisition of Homestreet Bank’s retail home loan center business. Under her leadership at HomeStreet Bank, the mortgage banking volume grew over 400%, finishing in Scotsman Guide’s Top 20 Retail Mortgage Lenders from 2016-2018 and reaching #1 purchase market share in the tri-state Pacific Northwest in 2017. Rose Marie has been investing in her teams, her community (serving on the Boards for YWCA and WMBA), and customers for over 30 years, earning her a reputation for being a remarkable Mentor Leader.
